As a licensed CPA, Scott Milne began his career as an auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick, later taking on a financial management role at Orange County’s most venerable land developer, The Irvine Company. Four years after joining the real estate innovator, Scott began to realize that something was missing for him – the opportunity to work with a wider variety of clients in a consulting capacity. As an equity partner at Wood Gutmann & Bogart, Scott thrives on sharing his expertise not only with his clients, but also with WGB’s growing team of brokers, which he has been leading and motivating for the past nine years. He characterizes the firm as being “big enough to have the market clout to negotiate favorable terms and pricing, but small enough to offer clients a consistent point of contact and personalized attention.” Scott is also responsible for information technology decisions at WGB, where he focuses on managing and maintaining fast, efficient agency operations and improving client service through such industry innovations as CSR 24 online certificate generating software. Scott is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in accounting.
